Network simulator : FTP server and FTP client

During the parameter setting stage of a FTP server, you are offered the following possibilities:

The "document root" folder cannot be changed.
The protocol and the number of the server's command port tell you how you can reach the service.
The data port Number indicates the port used by the server in the exchange of data in "active client" mode.
The "automatic starting" option requires the service to be launched at the same time as the hosting station.
The "authorize anonymous connections" options allows (or forbids) an "anonymous" connection to the server.
You can grant a write permission to the anonymous connections.
The login and the password indicate the information linked to the identification preceding your connection. Only one user will be accepted.

A FTP client is offered the following possibilities:

The protocol and the number of the server's command port indicate how you can reach the ftp server.
The default FTP mode is used when the software is launched (this mode can be changed).
You can define a connection by default used when the software is launched. This default connection can be either anonymous or identified.
