FTP client

The "connect" button sends a connection request after the information related to the connection has been input. An "ls" command is launched once the connection identifier has been received.

The "local hard disk" and "server hard disk" areas display the files that are available on the client and server. You can use the "arrow" buttons to either receive or send a file.

The used FTP Mode is set up at the time of the connection. You can resort to the "trace" check box to get the list of the translations (address and port) carried out during the exchange, and thus, to better understand the transmission's failure in some cases (as when a router carries out a translation between the client and the Internet, or between the server and the Internet).
