Network simulator : tutorial, creating a network

Note: the future network is stored in the TP01_01.xml document.

Launch the program.
Click on the Hub tool, and then click inside the window: a hub is created.
Choose the Station tool, and create three stations.
Create a switch.
Click on the first port of the hub, release the mouse button, and then move the mouse pointer to the network interface of the st1 station. Click again: you have created a cable that connects the two components.
In the same manner, connect the other components of your network to obtain the result below.

Select the "save as" option in the "File" menu. Save your network, as you would do it for any other type of document.
Select the Ethernet option in the "Mode" menu, and watch the points of connection:

The connection between the hub and the switch is not functioning (connection points appear in red).
The other connections are ok (connection points appear in green).

Return to the design mode.
Select "configure the cable" in the pop-up menu of the first port of the switch (the one in red in the Ethernet mode).
Choose "cross twisted pairs", and return in the Ethernet mode: the problem is solved.
Select the "save" option in the file menu to save the changes that you performed.
Click on the Arrow tool.
Click on one of the components to select it.
Press the "shift" key, and click on another component to add it to the selection.
Click anywhere in the panel, maintain the mouse button pressed, and trace a rectangle containing several components: they are selected.
Select a component, and press the "delete" key to remove it.
Select several components, then click on one of them, and drag it: the components are moved.
Select "Quit" option in the file menu and do not save the changes.
