You can use this window to indicate each stage of the treatment of the frame. The labels of the intermediate stages are followed by an ellipsis. These stages can be carried out in any order. The other stages end the treatment of the frame; their label is followed by an arrow. The software indicates to you whether you have made accurate choices. The only button which is available is the "stop" one. When the component is a switch, the user has to edit tables. For example, editing the mac/port table is a process based on the following dialogue (the editing process is the same for all the tables):

Each line is an entry of the mac/port table on the switch: MAC address, port number and TTL (which decreases after each passage of a frame in the switch). This information is produced by the passage of the frames (or by discovering the network) and can be changed in "Ethernet" mode using the pop-up menu of the switch.
